adsb123 password does not work even after resetting it? Just flashed a fresh copy onto the RPI 4… no password I try works. What is the correct password? Same issue for SSH and web GUI…there’s no way to login to this thing… and being a linux engineer this is annoying… ---

Yes I followed the guide to the T using that disk image. Not sure what’s going wrong for you. I don’t have an RPi, so can’t test anything, but I would think that the `reset_password` file should be placed in the root directory of the boot filesystem - that’s the FAT32 filesystem on the first partition of the image - probably the only one that Windows will be able to mount anyway. You should see files like `adsbx-env` and `wpa_supplicant.conf` - create it alongside those. ---

I am going to try my hardest to duplicate this tomorrow but initial tests I was unable to do so and no one else is complaining about the issue so I can’t imagine its wide spread, are you sure your entering the username and password exactly as it is on the website? Capitalization on both username and password must be all lowercase. ---

I just downloaded a fresh image and installed it and the login info works for me. User: pi Pass: adsb123 ---

I am having this problem as well. Fresh install on an RPI4 (adsbx-9.0.240503) and the default password does not work. Tried resetting it and still nothing… ---

Did you set a password on the web interface? If so use that one. ---

Exactly same thing here. Fresh install of adsbx-9.0.240503.img downloaded from [adsbexchange.com](http://adsbexchange.com) on a Rpi4B, with no pre installed settings in Rpi Imager. After succesful write, I went to 172.23.45.1 or adsbexchange.local, what ever you click first need to authenticate. Tried this with: default username: pi Passw: adsb123 do not work. Even tried to put in LAN cable in and got local IP of course and tried authenticating again. Same. Didn’t do anything more or else… Had it working earlier, but because I replaced my Rpi/ ADSB-stick to another location Rpi did not pick up the other/ closest accespoint (different AP-MAC, same SSID) and nothing I tried worked, Rpi is stuck to first (router-)MAC. In the end I tried a fresh install, but it seems i am further from home than before… ---

Are you sure you didn’t set a password in the pi imager software? Every time this comes up it’s the user did something to the ssh password. also not sure why you reimaged, you could have just removed the WiFi settings and reconnected.
