# How to configure and enable MLAT only?

Hi everyone,  
As a first step, I have recently setup an account with ADSBx, and have decided not to feed MLAT info on purpose (answered “NO” when asked to enable MLAT in the very first option of the feed client), at least until making sure the Mode-S feeder is working nominally…which I managed to confirm.

Now, I am feeding it correctl, I would like to setup MLAT and also receive MLAT data results into my dump1090-fa setup…

Couldn’t find simple directions on how to do it…can anyone provide any hints on these?

You mentioned dump1090-FA so I’m assuming you using the piaware image and ran the ADSBx script to add ADSBx to your feeder, if so the best way is to rerun the ADSBx script and choose to run MLAT this time.

If this is not how your set up please describe you exact setup.

🙂 i! 😉 not at all, I did a full plain reinstall of Raspbian Bookworm and installed all feeders and mlat clients manually 😉

Ah, quick update, I just re-run the ADBx install script choose MLAT and now the MLAT client is also running, feeding info and also collecting it…🙂
