# Keep current Feed UID

I am reinstalling my adsbx on a new sd card. How do I change the new software to reflect my current Feed UID, to keep my currents Stats, Performace graphs, etc… I have also sen this UID referred to “short name” when searching the leaderboard.  
Do I just need to set it to the same long ID, the one that shows at the end of the url for current stats feed (0e9cba48-4316-4036-931b-1e523d01694c)

Yes, the short ID is derived from the full UUID. You’ll find it in the file `/boot/adsbx-uuid`, and you can put it back in place there after reimaging. I’d recommend the 9.0 image - it’s still labelled “beta”, but it’s very stable.

Will I have the same short ID as the original one, or does it generate a new one, while retaining the stats, etc.. ?

The short ID is a reduction of the full UUID - for a given UUID, the short version will always be the same.
