I’m a new user.
I noticed that sometimes the API call will generate data, but sometimes it doesn’t. Even if on the webui it’ll show data. My question is, why does the webui always show data (even if its not up to date), but the API call only sometimes show data? I’m debating whether to use API call since it doesn’t always work.
From my testing, it looks like the API calls will only show data if aircraft is within North America. Not sure if this true or not.
Probably because the web interface you’re looking at is adsbexchange.com, but the API you’re looking at is adsb.lol
good point, I didn’t even to think they’re separate domains. My follow up question is, then is there a way to have always data on the api?
If you mean the adsb.lol api, you would have to ask the adsb.lol people.
I guess that answers my question. Because I thought adsbexchange and adsb.lol were the same “company”.
