I am new to ADSB Exchange simply as a casual observer of flights. I am accustomed to FlightRadar24’s display of Origination and Destination Airport for current flight segment, but can’t seem to find how displaying this info on ADSB Exchange (web browser or Android App) can be done. Thanks for any insight.
ADSBx displays where aircraft are, and where they have been, based on transponder data received by feeder stations. It does not know the destinations of the aircraft. Other tracking services get that information (flight plans) from FAA SWIM, but use of that requires agreement to filter tracking of some aircraft, which ADSBx has declined, in order to continue unfiltered tracking. Destination can be deduced and made available after the aircraft lands, but not before.
