Tailnumber and ICAO Types of static "vehicles"/traces

Hi,

We encountered the following: Some of the traces we get from the historical data, have tailnumber and/or ICAO Type “TWR”. Is this actually related to TIS-B?

In general, how can we filter out the traces of static vehicles/traces? We only want to process aircraft.

Is there a list of possible reserved tailnumbers/ICAO types for those? Or is there a list of hex codes that identify those?

Thanks for the hint. I saw in the code that they might also be the ICAO type “GND”.
