I recently got a Ford vehicle with Android Auto, I’m amazed on what can be seen on the car’s display. There is nothing I want more on that display than to see whats overhead. Is there anything possible that I can get an app to view ADSx on android auto? I think creating such an app will be a homerun for many, and without out, many would pay for said app.
Have you tried the Vivaldi browser? It seems that it might work on Android Auto. I don’t have any way to test it.
There is an app that uses ADSBx data but I’m not sure if it has the ability to be used on Android auto, it may not even be legal to do so in some areas as it could distract the driver.
Here is the page on our website that lists third party apps, you would need to reach out the the developer directly with any questions or suggestions.
I gave Vivaldi a go, Sync does not detect it - therefore not going to work thanks for the suggestion!
Thanks for this link, I’ll explore it. Sync 3 has the trigger to lock functions when moving. I’d gladly take a parked in front of a runway feature.
