Request for Historical Helicopter ADS-B Data

Hello ADSBExchange team and community,

My name is Miguel Gabriel Cebrián Gómez, and I’m an environmental scientist.

I am currently preparing a non-commercial research study to evaluate NORAH2, the helicopter noise modelling tool recently released by EASA. The study focuses on the Saint-Tropez region in France, where helicopter activity is particularly significant in summer and often a source of concern for residents.

For this purpose, I am looking to obtain historical ADS-B data that meets the following criteria:

  • Aircraft type: Helicopters only
  • Date range: 16 June to 15 September 2024
  • Geographic area: Approx. 15 km radius around Saint-Tropez, France

My objectives include:

  • Testing NORAH2 using real operational data
  • Evaluating data completeness and accuracy for this use case
  • Exploring the potential for ADSBExchange to be cited as a data source provider in future technical work or academic output

Could someone from the team kindly let me know:

  1. Whether this kind of dataset is available;
  2. If so, how to obtain a quote or price estimate for it?
