Our release of the 4 new OpenFreeMaps layers (as well as a reconciliation of tar1090 changes) is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon Oct 16. Will update after the deployment.

Mostly there, the new layers are generally working well but the labels aren’t showing/hiding properly when you zoom accordingly.
If you check how it works on adsb.fi or openfreemap.org you can see the labels hide properly. In the current implementation on ADSB Exchange they don’t hide properly which causes a lot of overlap making it harder to read the labels which isn’t how it’s meant to work

Thanks for your work on the new maps, mostly very happy with them. Just wondering if it’s possible to make roads, labels, lakes, etc. just a little bit brighter in the dark map? They’re a little hard to make out. Love how dark the main color is though.

We are releasing the fix to address the label scaling/clutter tomorrow at 9am MDT/11am EDT.
Ah! That fixed it. Thanks, I turned it on when we lost the old dark map and forgot.
