Blue ADSBExchange SDR with external LNA

Hi,

Explanation of context:
I want to install one of those white 1090/978 antennas in my attic with an LNA (LaNA) about 6” away from it and run coax down to my room to receive ADSB signals with one of those blue Blue R820T2 RTL2832U ADSBExchange SDR dongles.

The question:
I read that some receivers with internal LNAs have a switch you can set to enable bias for an external LNA Does the blue ADSBx receiver have that feature, or will i need to use an additional bias tee?

Additional follow-up question:
If i do end up having to use an external bias tee, will the blue ADSBx receiver be okay with that or will i need an additional component to uncouple the receiver from DC bias?

Yours in packets,

I’m fairly sure that none of the 1090 blue sticks can supply power to an external LNA. If you use a proper external bias-T, it should not present any DC voltage to the SDR (only on the antenna-facing side), so it should be OK in that regard, but you’re going to be stacking two LNAs in series, which may not be ideal (too much gain), or needed. How long is the coax run?
