Reinstallation generated a new Feed UID that I cannot add to the account.

I had a CrashDisk that required formatting and reinstalling everything. After reinstalling ADS-B Exchange, I was unable to insert the new Feed UID into my account.
I would like help on how to add the new code to the account.

If you don’t have your old UUID (not the same as Feeder UID), you’ll have to unlink your old receiver and link your new one - it needs to be done from a browser using the same public IP address as your (new) feeder.

I have an almost identical issue where I was exploring and decided to reset the dongle and it created a new UID but even if connected to the account it will not show stats correctly and the range etc has gone deaf!

Is there a way of re-establishing the original UID so to restore stats etc etc etc

The answer to the question about the [U]UID is above (i.e. “no”). It seems that something has gone wrong with your “reset the dongle” procedure. If you need help with that, we’ll need a lot more information about what you did…

I did a reset from the web interface on the Pi and it seemed to have killed everything - I got it up and running again but now the unit seems a little deaf - the coverage area is less than previous
