UUID keeps getting overwritten

Hello, My feeder originally used the UUID m3ijyP6nMrGG, but the current ADSBexchange script on my Raspberry Pi keeps overwriting it with a new ID z3eP_3VeYnTe. Even if I manually restore the original UUID, the script replaces it again. I would like to continue using m3ijyP6nMrGG. Could you please restore or re-enable this UUID on the server side? Thank you.

There is nothing server side to enable or disable UUID on your feeder, it is randomly created by the feeder on first boot.

where are you changing the UUID exactly? I am thinking your setting it somewhere down stream from where it is stored and it is just being changed back, especially if it changes back to the same one. The proper place to change the UUID on the official image is in the web GUI of the feeder.

m3ijyP6nMrGG is not a UUID, it’s a short feeder ID. If you don’t have the original UUID (format like 9b2ed66e-04ea-11f1-a720-bfa055fab7c0), you’ll have to go with a new one.
